Our Staff

Sonnet Montessori is staffed by dedicated teachers, assistants, and aides who love children and are dedicated to providing an environment in which children can thrive! They have a vast amount of experience and diversity of perspective, coming from around the world. Their unique backgrounds benefit our school.

Our Prior Lake and Lakeville branches have Infant Community classrooms (ages 6 weeks to 15 months), Toddler Community classrooms (ages 16 months-32 months) and Children’s House classrooms (ages 33 months-6 years). Our experienced lead teachers exceed state licensing requirements with their years of experience and education and, our Children’s House classroom teachers also have Montessori training. They also receive training throughout the year to stay on top of current policies, education approaches and trends, creative ideas and to continue their education.

Sonnet also values introducing additional languages to the children, and we do this through skilled language teachers. We currently offer weekly Spanish classes. Sonnet children also receive music instruction. The integration of music, additional language and an emphasis on education enrich the children and bring out the best in them at a very early age. Sonnet also has an afternoon program, designed to give variety to the child’s day, usually filled with hands-on activities.

We can’t thank you and your staff enough for preparing our children for the rest of their lives! Cameron is reading at a 4th grade level (he will be in 2nd grade next year) and Shelby is well on her way as well. We recommend your school to everyone we talk to and we will miss bringing them to Sonnet every day. As a mother it is very hard for me to close this chapter in our lives as our babies are both school age but I know they are as well prepared as they can be for the coming years.
