Our Grand Reopening week was so fun! A huge thank you to our Sonnet families, the Lakeville & Prior Lake area Chambers of Commerce, Lakeville city representatives and chamber members, and the Prior Lake mayor, city representatives and chamber members, for their warm welcome!
While we remain Sonnet Montessori School & Child Care, we bring an all-new program and leadership to our communities, with a commitment to the integrity of the Montessori method, the best health and safety practices, extensive staff training and development, and child, parent and employee satisfaction. Since acquiring Sonnet Montessori Schools last summer, we have been building our program, hiring and training an amazing team of teachers and support staff, and were fully relicensed in January 2022. We are so excited to finally be able to introduce our new schools to our community!
If you are exploring our schools for the first time, have been a past customer, or have heard about Sonnet, we’d love to show you around our classrooms and introduce you to our team! Contact us today!
Our celebratory week began with our Ribbon Cutting ceremonies! Thank you, Krista Jech, of the Lakeville Chamber and Sandi Fleck, of the Prior Lake Chamber, and your team!

Our Grand Reopening Celebration & Spring Planting Day on Saturday was so much fun! We made many new friends and had a great time with all of our Sonnet families and teachers who came out to enjoy the sunshine and all the activities!
Here, some of our guests are enjoying grinding some coffee beans to take home, and making a seed mosaic.

The bounce house and the face painting were huge hits as well! Mini Me Sports, an optional extracurricular program offered at our schools, was out to help us with games! Mini Me is a sports program that offers weekly classes including: basketball, soccer, tennis, baseball, track and field and football, all while teaching about the values of leadership, honesty, commitment, love and team work AND while teaching about important health topics like fruits and veggies, hydration, stretching and sleeping

JulieAnn Worthen, a Prior Lake resident and children’s book author, was out to share her sweet and funny story with us, “Bed Bugs Have to Eat, Too”! We also enjoyed planting our own seeds to take home, as well as planting our school garden.

But, to be honest… it was Carlson’s Llovable Llamas that were the star attraction!

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who came out and made our celebration extra special! Seeing those beautiful smiles, hearing their laughter and watching their curious hands and minds explore – that’s what we are all about!
